INTRODUCTION
Biblical agreement is the willing decision of believers to unite their hearts, prayers, words, and actions under the truth and will of God. Agreement is more than two people wanting the same result. It begins with agreement with God and His Word. From that foundation, believers can pray together, serve together, resolve differences faithfully, and pursue what honors Jesus Christ.
WHAT SCRIPTURE SAYS ABOUT BIBLICAL AGREEMENT
“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
“Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.”
DEFINITION IN EVERYDAY LANGUAGE
Biblical agreement means coming into unity with God’s truth and then joining with other believers in faith, love, prayer, and responsible action. It does not require people to have identical personalities or opinions about every matter. It means that they submit their shared purpose to Scripture, seek the honor of Christ, speak truthfully, listen humbly, and refuse division. Agreement in prayer is not a formula for controlling God. It is united dependence upon the Father in the name and character of Jesus Christ.
OFFER YOUR PERSONAL PRAYER
Heavenly Father, bring my heart into agreement with Your Word and Your will. Remove pride, selfish ambition, confusion, and every attitude that produces unnecessary division. Teach me to listen with humility, speak the truth in love, and pursue peace without compromising what is right. When I pray with other believers, unite us around Jesus Christ and guide our requests by Your wisdom. Make us of one accord so that our fellowship, service, and decisions will glorify You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

I receive Your grace to agree first with Your truth and then to walk in unity with others. Thank You for freeing me from pride, strife, selfish ambition, and the need to control every outcome. By Your Spirit, make me humble, truthful, patient, and ready to forgive. I thank You for teaching us to pray with one heart, serve with one purpose, and remain submitted to Your will. Our agreement rests in Christ, our requests are placed before You, and all the glory belongs to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Read Philippians 2:1–5 prayerfully. Identify one relationship, ministry responsibility, or shared decision in which you need to pursue biblical agreement. Ask what Scripture requires of you, listen carefully to the other person, and take one humble step toward truth, peace, and faithful cooperation.
