WHAT MAY BE HAPPENING WITHIN YOU
Your view of God influences the way you pray, trust, obey, and interpret your life. Painful experiences, unanswered questions, human examples, or isolated ideas can create a picture of God that is incomplete or untrue. God invites you to know His character through Scripture and through Jesus Christ, so that your relationship with Him rests upon truth rather than fear, assumption, or changing circumstances.

INNER TEACHING
God reveals His character as merciful, gracious, patient, good, truthful, holy, and just. These qualities do not compete within Him. His mercy is not moral indifference, and His justice is not cruelty. He forgives sin while remaining true and righteous. The clearest revelation of God is found in Jesus Christ, who is the express image of His person. In Christ, you see compassion toward the broken, truth spoken without compromise, authority over darkness, obedience to the Father, and sacrificial love for sinners. Understanding God’s character requires more than selecting the qualities that feel comforting. Allow the whole counsel of Scripture to correct false assumptions and deepen reverence. When circumstances confuse you, begin with what God has revealed about Himself. You may not understand everything He permits, but you can continue learning His ways, trusting His wisdom, and responding to His holiness and love. As the truth about God becomes established within you, worship grows deeper, fear becomes ordered, and obedience rests upon confidence in who He is.

YOUR ALPHAMATION
Through Jesus Christ, I am learning to know God as He has revealed Himself. He is merciful, gracious, patient, good, truthful, holy, and just. My circumstances do not redefine His character. Jesus Christ reveals the Father and establishes my confidence in His love and righteousness. I release false assumptions and receive the truth of Scripture. I trust who God is, honor His holiness, and depend upon His faithful wisdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

PRAYER
Father, reveal Your character to me through Scripture and through Jesus Christ. Correct every false assumption created by fear, pain, or incomplete understanding. Teach me to receive both Your mercy and Your holiness, Your compassion and Your truth. Deepen my reverence, strengthen my trust, and form Your character within the way I think, speak, and live. Amen.

Choose one attribute of God from Exodus 34:6–7. Find one additional Scripture that reveals it, thank God for it in prayer, and practice reflecting that quality toward someone today.
